Okay, I perfectly remember a time in my life when I was a "little" kid and was absolutely convinced that I was a "big" kid. I can't remember all of the "big kid" things I proclaimed to everyone about myself, but I am sure that they all sounded ridiculous.

I would like to dedicate today's post to the most wonderful man I've ever known, my husband of exactly 5 years today, Travis. I would also like to thank him for all that he has done for us and our family and how he has stood as man of God even when it was the hardest. He is my dream guy and I thank God for giving him to me and restoring our lives into something that is beautiful. Trav- I love you and am looking forward the rest of my life with you and I know that the best is yet to come. I can't wait for our date and eating Tapas tonight  .

After church a week ago, my husband and I were driving and talking about all of the different things we are facing in our lives, and as you may have read in my recent posts, about the struggle it is to remain steady and unshaken. As we continued to drive, the scene in the sky became the most incredible I had ever seen. The sky was filled with crosses and around the sun looked like a crown of thorns.

People would think I'm crazy right now, down to the last mustard seed of faith, holding on to promises that look like dreams. Do I still have hope in my circumstances? I wonder sometimes, but I must still have some faith because I lift up my eyes and pray again. I look to the heavens, no sign of rain. I long to see the sky darken and the winds blow and then rain, a storm, covering me and my life until everything is drenched. Everything must be saturated, it all has to change. I am so thirsty for the rain... dehydrated. Is this where true faith dwells, in a dry and barren land?

I am tense and stressed and tempted to believe in the things that I see. Life is squeezing me and I want to just want to escape, but here is no escaping, where could I go?

I had a really cool experience with the Lord today. At my church we take turns doing this prayer chain thing. I was at my church alone in the prayer room with IHOP streaming to the video screen (so cool!) and I had my feet pressed to the altar and I could just feel the Lord pressing into me. I felt the closest I had ever felt with Him in a long time. Just then, my little girl walked in the room and started to hand me stuff. I didn't want to leave the spot where I was standing, so I just set down the things she was giving me.
